Well, well, well…today come a few characters that a lot of people have requested. Even Androu1 wanted them. Un fact, he wanted to do Geno Toon Link since he started the whole texture hacking thing because he just loves Geno’s design…Leon did him first, and there’s no competition when it comes to making Toon Link hacks! (Seriously, who would want to hex him more times just for extra lulz?!)
Anyway, he also comes with a friend (?). The puffy Mallow! He eats a lot more nowadays, and his shape is rounder…but he hasn’t changed that much, anyway…
There’s just one problem! That dastardly Boshi! HE FOLLOWED TODAY’S HEROES INTO BRAWL! Well, whatever. I guess it just balances things out…right?

Today, we bring you a hack that’ll be appearing in ]EE[‘s patch. It’s Promethus, the robot party member better known as Robo from the classic SNES RPG Chrono Trigger! Originally created to help his human masters in the Proto Dome, Robo went dormant in 1999 AD. He waited there until he was repaired in 2300 AD, and having forgotten his purpose, he….
JOINED THE BRAWL! If you don’t remember that happening in Chrono Trigger, I guess you just didn’t pay enough attention, huh?

So, tonight’s update is a combo breaker. A very large one indeed. A combo breaker to our chain of non-Killer Instinct hacks. But, this combo is about to be broken. As this cindering monster of fire bursts into Brawl from Rare’s past. Yes, the best character, from the best Mortal Kombat clone, Killer Instinct, makes it into Brawl! He can even use flame moves! Now that’s what I call good hacking! This was originally going to be in EE’s project, but 2 of EE’s three members rejected it. Sadly, it did not make it in. But I hope you enjoy his flaming (literally) glory. Get ready to be burnt to a Cinder.
Hmm, tonight’s character is a bit of an oddity. He’s the “brother” of Megaman, technically. His name is Protoman, but we must acknowledge that he could have been Meltedman. He’s always wanted a real brother relationship. He’s tried going straight but Megaman still mistrusts him. </kajetokun> Anyway, this is another great hack from Dhragen, even if the colors are a little off.
Or should we say PINK, because tonight’s hack update is a version of Link from the best Zelda game ever. (Ocarina of Time sucked *equips flameshield*) And his oddly pink hair. But this Link is also decked out with all his gear. Including a golden sword, a red tunic, and, of course, his weird pink hair. So don your master sword, get some rupees out of the Chris Houlihan room, head into the Dark World, and brace for a duel to the death with Agahnim, because it’s time for some LINK TO THE PAST. Note: StarShadow72, or StarShadow76 or whatever, head to the IRC, the team would like to talk to you about something. Is a seekrit.

[Androu1]This is proof that Dhragen is way better than me when it comes to the whole “making stuff from scratch” thing. He’s not better than me until he makes mipmaps, TPLs, PCSs, burn disc, test costumes AND takes pics, tho.
