I am going now to post one of my works, one that I am really, really proud of, and I loved how you guys congratulated me for this idea.

Its not grave robbing just because it just so happens that you want to do a texture hack that ]EE[ has already done. To us, they don’t even exist (the hacks) b/c I’ve always wanted to do texture hacks using sonic. Like I wanted to made Shadow in Sonic DX. But so many people did it, I gave up. So doing ShadowTH in brawl is not grave-robbing. And if doing ShadowTH is grave-robbing, then a grave-robber I shall be.
And I’m fine with you doing it. But we, as a team, are a different story. We have our own stuff to make. So, I’m just saying we don’t need people saying we’re not “good people”. We’re not ]EE[. We also don’t really wanna make Shadow…

If this is nintendo’s fault, it makes up for every good game they have ever made. Way to please your fans, guys. Why don’t you go recall every copy of brawl while you’re at it. I’m so mad, I wouldn’t even care if Mother 3 came out tomorrow.
You guys are good people, of course. That’s fine that you don’t want to make Shadow, but I just wanted to let you know that doing a coincidental hack is not considered grave robbing. As of SS, I hope you guys succeed in avoiding whatever shut down ]EE[ but meanwhile, I’m going to ATTEMPT to make a decent texture hack. 🙁 Btw, are you guys ever planning to publicly release any of your hacks? If so, will it be anytime soon? (Probably not, hence what happened to ]EE[.

yea i just got to them… it was definitely too good to be true =/ i’m sure someone will figure out how to emulate their textures or maybe ]EE[ might even release it under another name… idk and idc let’s just hope that somewhere down the line these guys will figure out a way release the patch. it seems that stack smash has no intention of releasing a patch or w/e like ]EE[ in the nearby future. i hope they can reconsider, i actually thought the ss hacks were better than the ee hacks, knowing that ss was the mystery artist only backed that up. not that i disliked ee i checked their site everytime and believe me, i wanted that patch more than anything in the world. done with my tiny rant, gnite and hopefully we’ll see the syntax error patch somewhere somehow some goddamn way…….. loopholes: can u find them?

These guys put over half a known year of work into their project and wanted to bring your favourite characters to life. Now facing a lawsuit, all you can think about is getting the textures, coz that’s all that really mattered to you in the first place.
Release it under a different name? I don’t think you guys get it. If the patch is released, it’ll go back to EE and they’ll get sued for it. Regardless of who releases it. Stop being so close minded and look at the bigger picture.
If someone was threatening you with jail over releasing a few colour changes in a game, I’m sure you’d think twice about releasing them also.

Couldn’t someone give a “Beta Tester” lul, the texture hack and they could leak it on a torrent website or something? No one would know who did it, and nothing Syntax Error has done is illegal.

Galacta was done by us first but they released it first. Viewtiful was a concidence and we don’t have a Dark Charizard, we have a Shiny. lrn2pokemon

Captain Jim, it’s not grave robbing, it’s just reposting ]EE[‘s hacks so we can just see them again. They spent months of work on their hacks, can’t you guys just display their work so they aren’t lost forever?
DarkFalcon, if they did that. It would violate Nintendo’s Cease And Desist letter, and Syntax would get our courts flimsy sense of Justice, up the ass.
This is great, I LOVE the new Trainer. Ridley espically is very well done, though Metroid and Kraid are nothing to sneeze at.
I’m glad you did Kraid and not a Zoomer, Kraid’s my favorite.

Epic win. Best hack yet out of both EE and SS. Before EE was my favorite, but I think you just took the lead. Also, Mother Brain PT is going to give me nightmares.

Don’t these require .pac for each of the pokemon? The recent .rar I downloaded only contains one .pac and it’s for the Final Smash. Where do you put the FinalSmash.pac anywayz?
