Alright, the story from ]EE[ is that they ran into some technical difficulties. They have some suspicions regarding the matter but the short and sweet version is that the patch will unfortunately not be released.
Syntax Error is sorry they couldn’t release their hard work but sadly it could not happen, the circumstances were out of their hands.
They also want it made clear that their only intention, ever, was to spark interest in the game and pay homage to various characters, nothing more. Releasing everything to the public was meant to be as a sort of gift for the fans but as mentioned, this couldn’t happen.
They appreciate the support of the fans through all of this and hope you have enjoyed what they brought to the game.

Uh, ok. Ask them why they went after them instead of Stack Smash or Kitty Corp please. Kitty Corp released theirs and anyone can join their forum at any time and get the textures, so what’s the difference? And please tell him that I said that I hope he will recover very well, soon, and that he will feel better than before when he is fully recovered.
I don’t know Rags youtube, so I can’t say get well soon.
Major surgery? That doesn’t sound good. They wouldn’t have tried to release the patch if Rag was scheduled to have surgery. Or maybe… it wasn’t scheduled?

EE hacked Brawl, but they didn’t do anything harmful to the game, systems, or anything, aside from letting people have more fun in Brawl. I really hate when big companies like Nintendo stop people from having fun just because they’re more powerful than them, and they know that these little people outsmarted them and cracked their system. Nintendo now sucks to me.
