I firmly believe that Link, Zelda, the other Links and, to a lesser extent, Ganondorf are amalgams of their characters in the Zelda series across most or all games. In other words, Link stands for every Link, Zelda stands for every Zelda, Young Link and Toon Link stand specifically for the youthful incarnations of Links, and… er, well, Ganondorf is only one man to begin with, not counting the timeline split.
Despite that, it’s evident that their appearances in Brawl are taken from Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker, and it’s not unfitting to make hacks that make them resemble specific incarnations–we’ve already got plenty of those. So here are my versions of Link, young and old, from Ocarina of Time.

I think I already know where the designs come from. I played them both and I remembered that their designs were based off of those two games. Anyways, good texture, Stack Smash, good texture.

I dunno, I really liked A V A V > V A. BTW, what’s different with the link in the middle row? I dont see any difference in his texture
The differences for old OoT Link are reeeeally subtle. His clothes and shield are brighter, his hair is yellower, his gauntlets match, and his eyebrows are at a slightly different angle. I did make him first with the plan to use his textures on young OoT Link, but he’s mostly there so that there’s an old OoT Link to match… and my objective was to make both versions of OoT Link in Twilight Princess-level detail; after all, TP Link is said to be wearing OoT Link’s clothes. Does that all make sense?
That looks like Link from Majora’s Mask.
