Tonight’s update is about Super Mario Galaxy. Before you start screaming WELCOME, WELCOME NEW GALAXYYYYYYYYY, let me explain what’s going on here. The first hack featured here is Mario, in all of his flying attire. Even though the colors may be swastika-style (red black and white), I think it looks pretty good. The second is Flying Luigi, from the same game. Weegee has always taken to imitating his brother in the most blatant ways possible, so this isn’t much of a shock. The third, is actually sort of an original creation, resembling Fire Wario in Wario-spins of Mario powerups and suits. Yes, Wario can now fly, as Flying Wario! Can’t let Mario and Luigi have all the fun can we? I thought not. So grab your red stars and get flying. Flying over the jump, that is, to see these glorious hacks.

Huh. Never played far enough into SMG yet to see this: is this SMG’s equivalent of the Wing Cap?

Good stuff, would not have complained about these nice classic recolors aside from the fact someone pointed out the think I overlooked, the blue W! lol Might be better yellow. 😀
It wouldn’t be yellow because they keep their original logo colour on the flying outfit. And Wario’s is blue.

NICE work. Why Mario (at least Mario) didn’t have the flying outfit in Brawl… and why there were no Galaxy references to begin with other than being mentioned in Chronicles like SMRPG… is way beyond me.

Awesome. Predictable that one or another texture hacking team will make this, but awesome. (Also I viewed all your other textures and I must say I’m very impressed. Are there any plans releasing these textures? Couldn’t find anything ’bout that, sry.)
By the way, to the point with the swatiska: there is more behind that color combination than just nationalsocialism. actually the color red is the symbol of communism and socialism and nationalsocialists were socialists – well, not really, they acted like that to get more votes and still do that here in Germany, sadly, but anyway. But actually red is the color of communism and left people and is still used by communists as their symbol. Now black is actually the color of anarchy, I’m still not sure why the nationalsocialists used it though. White is either the color of anticommunism (remember, right people stand against left people) or the color of peace (It doesn’t make any sense viewing holocaust and nationalsocialism, but see how they manipulated the folk back then and how they told the folk how they’re for peace and shit while they were preparing for the super war). I’m pretty sorry to pull off such a long post about politics but I don’t like how the combination red-black-white is directly remembered as something extreme right meaning bad, but today it is actually something only used by lefts (Even though I gave another example of some bad organisation, but at least with another political orientation and I hope you get the point) and well, some still existing neonationalsocialists who are a minority here in Germany now.
Agreed S. these costumes should have originally been in Brawl, great job by ya guys at SS throwin em inta the mix.
One small note, I might add, is that the shoes of rhe characters are supposed ta be their main color (Mario’s shoes red, Luigi’s shoes green, etc.) other than that, payin’ homage ta one of Mario’s greatest adventure games (IMO) is beeeeeautiful.

@HoboDan: Imagine this: he now has special flying powers and he can fart to fly too. He can use those farts of his as boosts, meaning he’s, by far, the fastest one out of the 3!
