Hey S., I’m a Melee player and I’d like to thank you personally for the work you’ve done in hacking Melee. I own Brawl and find Brawl + pretty fun and the texture hacks are really cool, but nothing will ever replace Melee for me, so your work in hacking Melee has been really awesome. Unfortunately, I’m a bit economically challenged and can’t really afford to continually burn Melee’s lol. Hopefully PW or someone will make an SD loader code for it, but in the mean time just watching your updates is fine by me. 🙂 Whenever you have a nice amount (10-20? IDK =P) of textures for my favorite chars I’ll have to try this shit out, but good shit S. <333

unless they fix the fact of wii going into gamecube mode that can’t be fixed cuz the gamecube doesn’t have an sd card slot so it doesn’t recognize it in gamecube mode on wii

i know this is probably not gona happen, but seeing as the wii can read the gamecube, could there POSSIBLY be a way to load the sd card textures into the game? maybe if the makers of homebrew come out with a gamecube app…
Oh yes. This is the greatest Melee update so far.

The easier way would be if they released a GCN USB Loader. Then, you could use WiiScrubber (I was pretty sure it worked with Gamecube games) and scrub the textures onto the ISO. No burning or SD required!
@JC-Gamer: Actually, WiiScrub totally screws with GCN ISOs, especially if you try to replace files. (GC-Tool is the way to go here.)

Haha, I myself don’t actually burn textures until I’ve made a good 10 or so… as I’m running low on discs/cash as well. I normally do tests on the Dolphin-emu, so that’s very handy. 😉
@Banjo2553: I believe Melee was one of the first GCN titles to ever be released… and Sunshine was released somewhere in 2002, I believe, with Melee in 2001?

Love the Roy, but I never played Sunshine so I don’t really get the Doc.

Yum, more Melee. Screw everyone who thinks Melee hacks are pointless.
I might get in the game at some point if you release a guide, something tells me Melee might be easier to re-texture than Brawl.
The one thing I don’t like about Melee hacks is how confused I am for the first few seconds when I see a Dr. Mario or Roy or something. XD

@Teh Noob 14: Only advice I can give is searching via Google, or somehow via Megaupload. Normally uploaded in multiple RAR-parts. Other than that…
