maybe the reason that you can’t change any colors is because maybe he is a plain model,since he is a 2d model in a 3d game he probably doesnt occupy much space in the game,so nintendo put 6 models of him(6 different colors)

I knew I saw the picture somewhere.
Well, G&W only one has .PAC for his costumes, and there’s a file inside it that works kinda similar to a palette. It gives the colors to ALL of his costumes.
And lakajd, it’s funny because he has loads of little model things (the turtle, parachute, bucket, all of that stuff is a little model all by itself).
It’s interesting.
Oh, BTW. I did say I found a way to change his colors. So expect random G&W recolors sometime.
You guys should replace one of the videos with that picture.

Yeah, sadly. But whatever, I may be able to remove that red glow piece of SHIT from Phazonfair’s (FINALLY) just because it works the same way.
But there are 2 facts:
1) GAME AND WATCH HAS NO TEXTURES
2) We can only recolor him, which is lame.

Well then, if you can only recolor him, why don’t you make Mr. Gay Man Watch? Purple would be perfect. (I was only expecting recolors of him anyway.)

Ok i have something to say im not saying i dont believe u guys but here is what has happened to me, when i had electric blue g&w take blk it was black with a white outline, and also when turned metal when he was taking mario’s texture his colors changed a little so maybe there is something u can do with that

You can make a whole stage appear 2-dimensional but you can’t create some sort of texture for Donkey Kong or for Mr. Game and Watch…an odd limitation to hacking. Nonetheless someone will figure something out at some point.
You could make Sukapon. Or the AOL guy. Or those flat enemies in the SSE.
We never said no DK. All we know is that EE failed and fucked the transparency on his fur (I’m 100% sure of that).

Lol, This post is hilarious. I have not texture swapped any game ever (So Im sure Ill get shot down with this idead) But is it a possibility to draw doodles and put them on top of G&W? He is like a blank peice of paper waiting to be doodled on.
Wait… If he has no textures then how is even able to have different costumes or even be abled to even exist in the game.

Bouncy, he does not have textures, he has simple solid colors (like link’s tunics in OoT) That’s a little different. although I’m pretty sure you CAN edit this, I’m also pretty sure you CANT edit it like a normal texture.

What about the emerald thing? If this was true how do we have a G&W texture?
Not really. Everybody (maybe not Jigglypuff, Wolf, or Toon Link, I don’t know) has a set of emeralds for their “dark” versions in the SSE. But you can edit those textures and apply them in place of regular ones. So in one sense, Mr. Game & Watch “has textures.” But the ones that the game presents as playable don’t.
But it’s still not popular to make emeralds for Mr. Game & Watch because just one will apply to every color swap he has.
