It’s called “Santa’s Workshop…”
Inside, little men with jagged facial hair, red noses, pointed ears and shoes and colorful shirts and overalls are worked like mules to create toys, power tools and other luxuries for spoiled children all over the world. None of these men have ever questioned the authority of Mr. Santa Claus, the CEO of this corrupt corporation. Until one of them in the wrapping department grew tired of work. That elf was Wario. At least, that’s how the story goes in SMAAAASH!!.
As for Toon Link, I went with how I draw Minish Cap Link (minus Ezlo, of course) because I draw Wind Waker Link too close to the official thing.
I’ll try to release these in pairs or trios from now on. And maybe I’ll write some junk about ’em like today.
Man, if someone could do a full fledged Link w/ Ezlo, I’d… Well, be really freakin’ happy.
But, as it stands, this is great too. I love these hacks for some reason. Steller job as usual!

Comics comics… I’ve been on a laziness binge, yeah, partially because I’ve been making a crazy number of texture hacks. I had the self-challenge to make ten comics in one month but that just intimidated me and so I did nothing.
I’ll get back in business soon, and #50 will be very nice… well, I mean, I hope people think so.

Do you plan on doing the Overalls Wario version? You show him as that some times.

Nice Bird Person. Did you ever consider making every aspect of the game in this manner?
Now, that would be a challenge and I might not want to do that much… some stages are really rough. I do aim to get all the characters (including Overalls Wario, but not Mr. Game & Watch), some more stages, some assist trophies and Pokémon, and some items. But I don’t want to solely focus on stylizing everything all at once, because I do like making detailed, “realistic” textures like DIY Wario and Hero’s New Clothes Link.
One thing I also want to do is release a set of character select portraits I drew myself to replace the ones of the costume that the stylization is replacing. I’m starting that.

This is by far my favourite Toon Link texture. It’s hilarious.
The whole point of Toon Link is increased range of emotion, and I think this is the best example of that simple concept.
